Expand Your Thinking

In this series of 4 forums we will welcome all views on some potentially divisive topics.  Each session will focus on a specific topic following the guidelines of a structured process led by facilitator Leah Boyd of Clarity Services, LLC.  The point?  To expand our thinking by expressing how we see things and hearing how others see things.  We will not be attempting to agree or reach consensus.  The goal is to stretch out of our comfort zones to become curious about what motivates and supports each other's thinking.

These sessions stand alone, so you are welcome to register for as many or as few as you like. Individual sessions: $10 each

Feb 12, 2019: Session #1:  Immigration - Is it our moral imperative to help people from other countries?  Are "New Mainers" helpful or harmful to our economy and communities?

Feb 26, 2019: Session #2:  Healthcare - What makes sense when it comes to healthcare?  How should it be funded?

Mar 5, 2019: Session #3:  Taking a Knee - Is it disrespectful, inappropriate?  Is it an appropriate means of protest?

Mar 12, 2019: Session #4:  Climate/Environment/Alternative energy - What do you think is going on with the climate, if anything? What do you think is the best way forward in terms of how we meet our energy needs.
