What draws you to NVC?
Is it a strategy to “get what I want or to get others to behave better” or a way of thinking rooted in a consciousness of Interdependence? Or as Marshal Rosenberg said, our Divine energies connecting with each other.
My root teacher, Thich Nhat Hanh, coined another term, Inter-being, to conceptualize the energy that unites all things. How might I live if I deeply experienced that I am part of the great web of life. That in every moment I have choice about how to show up. That NVC can help us see ways of showing up that holds both authenticity and compassion as vital.
This workshop will explore the spiritual aspects of NVC and offer practical experiences to touch the foundational energy that connects us to all life. We are indeed one spark of life that inter-plays with all other sparks.
We will not explore the “how-to” of NVC. Our time will embody the “why” of NVC.
